A first for District 1270 as they attend the Lincolnshire for the first time to promote Rotary to the public.

With display stands, plasma screen presentation, rally car and live demonstrations of the Life Straw and Chinese Cookery by Harry Wu, the Rotarians have already caught the attention of the media.

Dylan Royce, Radio Lincolnshire's roving reporter has already interviewed Paul Train of Hornsea and East Riding Rotary Club about the significance of the rally car on the stand.  Paul is co-driver to a disabled rally driver and between them they have raised valuable funds for Rotary Foundation whilst enjoying their passion and favourite hobby.

As if one interview is not enough a second interview is scheduled for the first day of the show when the GSE team demonstrate the Life Straw.

And despite the good start the Comms team have not become complacent - there is a strong possibility that a new member has been found amongst one of the suppliers and at an evening meal in one of the local restaurants a new source of potential Club raffle prizes has also been secured.
