Organized by Bailgate Rotary Club the inaugural Alan Woods Memorial Trophy Fly Fishing Match for Rotarians and friends was held on Apri1 25th 2006.

It was a beautiful sunny day at Thorpe Le Vale and enthusiastic enjoyment lead to a clear result - George Pearce of Bailgate was a worthy winner.

The day culminated in the assembly of Rotarians and partners at the Bottle and Glass Public House Scothern and the trophy was presented amidst jovial fellowship by Mrs. Pat Woods.

Pat will also present a cheque to the charity of her choice P.H.R.

Plans are being made for next year's charity Fly Fishing Match and anyone interested in taking part in any way as Competitor, Steward, Spectator or in joining in the evening of rotary fellowship Please contact the secretary of Bailgate Rotary Club.
