The Rotary Club of Barnsley are for the fourth year, organising the reading competition that takes place this month. 

There are eight schools participating; Burton Road,  Darfield All Saints,  St. Mary’s,  Dearne Carrfield,  Kexborough,  Piper’s Grove and Carlton are all fielding strong teams so it should be a very enjoyable evening.

The event will be attended by His Worship the Mayor, Councillor John Parkinson and Mrs Linda Parkinson and also Edna Sutton, Chief Executive For Children, Young People and Families.
