The Lincolnshire ShowThis year sees Rotary International District 1270 (The East Riding of Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire) putting its Clubs on display with a stand at The Lincolnshire Show.

Not only is this a milestone in District 1270's history being the first time the District has been on display at the show, but it is also the first year that the Linconshire Show will receive national coverage from the BBC.

The 122nd Lincolnshire Show will take place on the 21st & 22nd June at the Lincolnshire Showground.  The Show has a reputation for being one of the finest agricultural shows in the country and attracts the support of over 2,000 trade, stock and horse exhibitors.  Last year's event attracted approximately 70,000 visitors.

There are 49 clubs within District 1270 spanning from Beverley in the North to Spilsby in the South and Sheffield iin the West to Alford and Mablethorpe in the East.  All 49 Clubs will be represented at the show.

The District 1270 stand will cover all aspects of the projects we are undertaking within Rotary.  From Aquaboxes and ShelterBoxes for International Aid to Community Projects supported by local clubs, you'll really be able to see what it means to be a Rotarian and how Rotary is helping to make the world a better place.

Already in place for the show is a 50" Plasma Display which will display Club Projects and other information (such as this site and other Club sites).  We are working on bringing a competing Rally Car for display which has helped to raise an astonishing amount of money for Rotary causes, ShelterBox, Aquabox and hopefully, we will be in a position to provide refreshments free of charge on the day.

There are many more things in the pipeline which will be announced through this site.

We look forward to seeing you there - a downloadable map is available from the Downloads section of the site.
