Thanks to the tremendous generosity of shoppers in Market Rasen on the Friday before Christmas a massive £952.00 was collected by teams of Rotarians outside the Tesco and Co-op. stores in the town.

The money from the Tesco collection will benefit Macmillan Nurses and the St Andrews Children’s Hospice in Grimsby. That collected at the Co-op, will be forwarded to the Rotary Shelter Box appeal, which sends out many hundreds of emergency boxes to disaster areas in the world, and include family size tents, tools, water purifiers etc..

The Rotarians from Market Rasen thank the two store managers, for allowing us to collect, but also all those who so generously contributed.
