Despite predictions of bad weather, the sun shone on the righteous on Sunday 7th September. St Andrew’s Hospice held their annual motorbike tour of Lincolnshire to benefit the Children’s section of the Grimsby and district Hospice.
Some 110 motorcyclists met at Willingham woods, as many of them often do, and then departed on a tour of Lincolnshire taking in the George and Dragon at Hagworthingham, The Highwayman at Skegness and The Royal Oak, otherwise known as The Splash at Little Cawthorpe. According to the 7 Rasen Rotarians assisting with the start of the event, their generosity was tremendous, with a collection being made of just in excess of £1,500.00 for the Children’s Hospice funds.
