On Thursday 12 February, the first meeting of those responsible for planning the operational side of the Youth Centre took place.  Rtn John Gosnold chaired the meeting of representatives from the community and the Hull KR Sport and Education Trust.  Amongst those taking an active role is Sarah Hatfield who was a member of 2008 GSE Team who went to Colombia.

Initial agenda items including the operational plan, health and safety and how to get the youngsters to take ownership.  It was agreed that some of the youngsters would be invited to join all the PR opportunities in order to meet with all those responsible for finding the funding.

This meeting followed the meeting of the project team who will be responsible for ensuring that the Youth Centre conversion proceeds as planned.  An initial date for the official launch is Sunday 14 June.
