Following the online plea for assistance by The Rotary Club of Brigg following the Tsunami and Earthquake disasters, Brigg Colts Hockey Club has responded by helping them to fill another three Aquaboxes.
The Rotary Club of Brigg has been working with the Colts Hockey Club for the past three years and in response to this together with the Ladies’ and Men’s club they have moved their Aquabox project a long way towards their target of another six boxes by the end of April.
Brigg Colts Hockey Club is one of the largest in the country with over 100 members at 8 –18 year old taking part and the club is a wonderful ambassador for the town.
Every year there are several regular tournaments as well as one junior and one senior tour which The Club is happy to support. Last year both the boys and girls senior teams won the Easter tournament in Crimpen, Holland and they hope to have similar success this year when the festival comes to Maidenhead.
Thanks again to the Brigg Colts for helping us to make a difference!
