Official openingOn Tuesday 30 September, following the devastating floods of 2007, the first phase of the exterior improvements to Toll Bar Primary school were officially opened by Doncaster St Leger President, Jack Cusworth.

The new play area was opened whilst work is ongoing to create an environmental garden which has a scheduled completion date towards the end of October.

Both projects have been funded via the Rotary Flood Relief Fund and the RotaryHaving Fun Club of Doncaster St Leger.

The school is involved in the Healthy Schools project and strongly believes in the philosophy of learning through play and active learning.  The Head, Jill Northwood believes that the new play area will benefit the school, children and the local community and provide a further "lift" in the aftermath of last year's flooding.
