The competition generally begins with a Rotary Club organising a competition at it's local school. The emphasis being on the preparation of a 2 course healthy meal as economically as possible. The winners of the Club competition progress to a District Competion, then via a Regional Competition to the RIBI Final of Rotary Young Chef. At the Regional Final and the RIBI Final the students will be asked to cook a 3 course healthy meal for two people costing no more than £14 (€21). | Stages in the competition: | Club competition District Finals Regional Finals National / RIBI Finals | Age Group: | The competition is planned for students in full time secondary school education.
