At a special assembly of pupils, Beverley President David Learoyd presented Cherry Burton Primary School head teacher Mrs K Moore, with a cheque for £550 from the Flood Relief Fund. The money will pay for 243 new reading books the school has purchased to replace those lost in last year's floods.
