GREETINGS FELLOW ROTARIANS FROM DAG PETER MANTON AND AUDREY. During the “run up” to Christmas, instead of visiting club meetings in South Group we have attended every Club Event that we could fit in. We have seen Rotary Clubs giving excellent Community Service in so many ways. It makes us wonder just how much service we give in RIBI. No one will ever know the full extent of what we do but it is clearly very impressive. At every one of these events we saw Rotarians telling the public about the projects we support, particularly the Shelter Boxes which are so much in demand at the present time. Well done fellow Rotarians, as well as making the public aware of the work that we do, this must be a big help towards recruitment of new members as more people see Rotarians in action. At the present time there are several Rotarians visiting projects overseas, we wish them all a safe journey and hope to hear good reports of their findings in due course. Audrey and I took part in the Santa Fun Run organised by Lincoln Colonia, we hope the fund raising from this event sets a new record. Peter Manton DAG /DGN
