The Lead Nurse of the Tissue Viability team Tracy Vernon, who is responsible for Pressure Area and Patient Care Management in D R I was there to accept them on behalf of D R I along with Mr. John O’Neil the Equipment Librarian, who makes sure they are well maintained and in the right place at the right time, they were very grateful to the Rotary Club for their generosity and said they had already been put to good use, especially for one lady who came in very critically ill but with the help of the "Nimbus 3" mattress and the nurses in the intensive care unit they were able to get her fit enough to go to Sheffield for specialist treatment and she is responding well, which makes it all worthwhile, a true case of "Rotary In Action"
