At 12.30pm on Tuesday 20 November, Bas along with fellow trailblazers Anna, Justine, Mark, Alison, Jon and Steve arrived back in Hull to a hero's welcome.

Along with the families eager to meet the weary travellers were Rotarians from Humberside, Hull Paragon and Lincoln.  

Look North presenter, Crispin Rolf was amongst those to meet them.  On this occasion Bas was not interviewed for the Humberside News and Look North item (yet to be screened) but his video footage was given to Crispin to be used as part of the article to be screened in advance of the young trailblazers, Andy, Mike and Jonathan's return on Satuday 24 November.

Like all the other trailblazers Bas left Hull for a well earned sleep that will probably for days.
