Countdown has begun for the Hull Freedom Trail team - drivers, supporters and families are now preparing for the send-off.

The Comms team decided that a send-off meal at Harry Kar's in Brigg was an essential part of team bonding.   Rotary Drivers - Bas, Isobel and Chrissy were joined by the home support team - Malcolm and Freya, together with partners - Sheila, Jan, Graham and Steve. 

As one of District 1270's newest Rotarians, Steve Tong, who is driving the support vehicle, was also invited to join the Rotary team meal.  There will more said about Steve in the coming months as he will not be returning to the UK until the new year as he will be visiting other African projects on his way home.  Steve's big vehicle is not going to be left in Sierra Leone as he wishes to do more charity work with it.
