Jan and I would like to thank everyone who contributed in anyway to the success of our 2007 event.  We received support from the Rotary Club of Lincoln, Inner Wheel, friends and family AND Rotarians from all corners of District 1270.

It is easy to take the credit when something goes right but I am mindful of all of you who could not come but sent donations and to all who came on the day.  Rotary is a family and we can achieve so much when we work together - on this occasion we greatly exceeded the anticipated return by raising £1,515.00.  It does not seem enough to simply say 'Thank you' so I will go to Sierra Leone and sing the praises of Rotary District 1270 - all the way.
