More than 180 Rotarians, friends, family and supporters of Rotary attended Bas's Bash 2007 at the home of the district editor.  Clubs from all corners of District 1270 were represented and treated to the finest summers' day so far this year.

Tasteful live music and fellowship abounded at what has become, in effect, a district event provided by the Rotary Club of Lincoln and Inner Wheel.  All Lincoln clubs and eleven others were there.

District Editor, Bas Blackbourn, said, 'All the preparation and hard work by so many is made so worthwhile by such an attendance.  We expect to raise more than £1,200 to support the work we do throughout the world and my own club has contributed £1,000 to the Hull Freedom Trail project in which I am Rotary lead driver in October.  My sincere thanks to all who contributed to a wonderful day.  BB
