HandoverNew President Arthur Borrill has taken up the reins at Brigg Rotary from outgoing president Tom Hogg and at a handover presentation night, held at the Kar Restaurant, he expressed his delight in accepting his new position and pledged to work hard to support the local community and Rotary’s international projects.

There were a number of changes to the ‘front bench’ team as incoming officers took up their positions for the new Rotary year; President Elect, Steve Pearce; Vice RobynPresident, Robert Horner and also Treasurer, Janice Grimley and Secretary, Keith Alston. The new team have many years experience so a smooth transition is expected with business as usual in support of local (including the flooding)and international disasters and all those less fortunate than us.

Outgoing president, Tom Hogg, was able to present a much welcomed cheque for £1,000 to Robyn Mountain and Sally Dewberry representing one of his chosen charities, Macmillan Cancer Support.
