RIBI President Allan Jagger came to Hull on Monday 16 July to meet with Rotary 1270 District Governor John and Past District Governor Rolf and Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Doncaster St Georges, Rotherham, Rotherham Sitwell and Hull Paragon to discuss how RIBI can assist clubs in providing support to the recent flood victims across the whole district.  Representatives of the Salvation Army were also in attendance.

Discussions focused on the recently created Flood Trust Fund together with the types of aid that Rotarians could be involved in.  Full details will be circulated to all Rotary Clubs as soon as practically possible.  It was the concensus of opinion around the table that aid from Rotary Clubs could be needed for some time and therefore short, medium and long term support will be required.
