More than 30 senior citizens have enjoyed an evening out thanks to the Rotary Club of Humberside.  The weather was warm and sunny as a dozen Rotarians picked up residents from the Lees Rest Homes, Trinity House and Swanland House and went for a trip out into the country.

Everyone then met up at the North Ferriby Village Hall for the second part of the evening - sandwiches and cakes followed by entertainment.  The event was co-ordinated by Rotarian Rev John Walker, who lead the singing of well known old time songs before showing off his skills as a bingo caller. What has been established as an annual event was enjoyed by all the residents, who said they're already looking forward to next year.
