The President, Tom Hogg, visits the St John Ambulance, Brigg Cadet Division, to present the volunteers with a cheque to help with the cost of kit and equipment for their new division which only started in March 2007.
Their Cadet Leader Simon Readhead accompanied by his wife, Alison is seen receiving the cheque. Simon said, "St John Ambulance is the UK’s leading first aid charity. We believe that everyone who needs it should receive first aid from those around them and that no one should suffer for a lack of trained first-aiders. We have over 44,000 volunteers who are committed to training, caring and saving lives and we are one of the country’s largest youth organisations." He went on to thank Brigg Rotary for their generous and welcome financial support.
