There have been a lot of questions asked relating to registering on the site and creating your own account.  This FAQ item will walk you through the process.

So, who can register on the site?

Well, it is primarily aimed at Rotarians within District 1270 with key members of each club being able to post news articles and calendar events to assist in publicising their club.

It is vital, therefore, that any Rotarian registering on the site does so correctly so that site administrators can see who are Rotarians within our District and who aren't.

Registration is simple and can be achieved from the Home Page.  There is a box in the left-hand top corner which allows registered users to log on and non-registered users to create an account.  To register, click the 'Create an account' link in this box.

You'll be presented with a form which takes your name, username, email, etc. which needs to be completed correctly.  Please ensure that the following rules are adhered to when creating your account:

• Your name is entered in the format: Firstname Lastname (Clubname)
• Your username is entered in the format: firstname_lastname

You can set your password to whatever you like, but please ensure that it is AT LEAST 8 characters long, contains AT LEAST ONE NUMBER and AT LEAST ONE CAPITAL LETTER.  Try to avoid dictionary words.

Submit the form and then follow the on-screen instructions.  If your position in the club dictates that you should be able to add articles to the site, we will ensure that you have the correct permissions.
