Since 2000 District 1270 have raised funds to send 397 Shelterboxes to overseas disasters.  The total value of this donation is £194,530.  These figures do not include the money and boxes raised the local Inner Wheel clubs or private donations.

RIBI President visited District 1270 in February.  

 

21st Feburary: Humberside at lunchtime and Barnsley & Barnsley Rockley in the evening.  

22nd February: Market Rasen at lunchtime and Lincoln Lindum in the evening. 

Please contact the club secretaries if you wish to attend any of these meetings.

He will also had a private viewing of Wilberforce House in Hull, prior to its official re-opening in March and The Deep.   Details of his visit are in a later news story entitled "Every Picture Tells a Story"
