The challenge is out – It was not the first time that last year’s winners, Wendy Hardaker and Marilyn Pearson, who represent the Humberside Inner Wheel, walked away with the prized Ray Culley Trophy.

And the date is booked – Sunday 25 March at the newly uprated and re-decorated Ellerker Village Hall.

The format will remain as that for previous years – arriving at 1.15pm for 1.30pm start and finishing about 4.15/4.45pm. Tea or coffee and biscuits will be provided on arrival and at the end of event.

The knock out competition will be based on Rubber Bridge. In the event of a large number of entries, initial rounds will be held regionally with only the final rounds taking place at Ellerker.

District Governor, Rolf Sperr, will be in attendance to present the trophy to the winning pair.
