Sunday October 28th saw 20 odd Rotarians (maybe that should be rephrased!) from Cleethorpes armed with spades converging on the grass verges opposite Tescos. 15 large sacks of daffodils were planted, which were very generously donated by Pennells Plant Centres and the local authority.
This is an annual environmental project by the Rotary Club of Cleethorpes and helps to give a colourful approach to the town. The line of bulbs will be close to ¼ mile long and was featured in the recent success of the Cleethorpes in Bloom contest.
