Hampers full of fairly traded fair will add to the festive flavour thanks to the Rotary Club of Horncastle.
As part of a pilot scheme by the club, spearheaded by Community & Vocational Service Committee chairman Margaret Sergeant, a range of five hampers packed with fairtrade goodies is being offered by the club with the help of its own dedicated website. Such delights as Major and Minor Chocaholic hampers are nutritionally balanced by Organic Options, Breakfast Time and take a Break. All the contents have been sourced through a local Fairtrade supplier and all profits will be donated to local charities. For more information see www.fairhampers.co.uk The club has recently welcomed two new members:- Stephen Harrison and Michael Rinfret, both of whom should bring the club's average age down! |
