The Rotary Club of Lincoln presented the Lincoln Youth Orchestra and the Lincoln Youth Concert Band in a GALA CONCERT on Friday 24 November 2006.  This special event provided the young musicians an excellent opportunity to display their exceptional talents and raised over £2,500 for local charities.

A variety of music was provided for the sell-out crowd of over 500 who, judging from their response, thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

The event was sponsored by the Lincolnshire Co-op and was attended by Co-op Chief Executive Ursula Ledbetter and the Deputy Mayor of the City of Lincoln, Councillor Hilton Spratt.

This is an annual event which is organised by the International Committee of the Rotary Club of Lincoln.
