RC Lincoln Colonia are fund raising with a difference.

The Great Santa Fun Run will takes place on 17 December around the Bailgate area of Lincoln, starting and finishing in Castle Square. The Club are hoping to attract up to 500 participants.

By organizing the event, the Club two local charities will benefit - The Lincolnshire Air Ambulance and St Barnabas Hospice. They hope to raise several thousand pounds for these two worthwhile causes, and because it is organized by Rotary ALL the money raised will be going to the two charities without any deductions whatsoever.

Each entrant will receive a Santa Suit and upon successful completion of the five km route, a medal. All participants who raise more than £25 through personal sponsorship for these two charities will also receive a commemorative tee shirt for their efforts

Anyone can take part - walkers, joggers, strollers, in fact anyone who wants to take part. Each participant will be wearing a Santa Suit; so you can imagine the spectacle of so many Santa’s on the move at the same time.

Entrance is £10 (including free Santa suit)
