The BBC are running a homelessness campaign in November.

The BBC No Home season looks to build on the legacy of "Cathy Come Home" and the 40th anniversary of Shelter.  It aims to update the public's view of homelessness in 21st Century Britain - challenging myths and stereotypes - and will signpost the public to creative and interesting volunteering opportunities that will help homeless people.

The season is heavily supported by programming on BBC One, BBC Four, BBC Radio's 2, 4 and 5Live.  A bespoke website will contain powerful narratives from homeless people recounting their personal journeys, describing how it feels to be homeless in 21st Century Britain.  It will feature stories from volunteers, sharing their positive experiences of volunteering with homeless charities.  Their stories will illustrate the wide range of volunteering opportunities open to the public and the personal benefits ganed from volunteering; such as confidence building, gaining new skills and making friends.

There may be opportunities to get case studies on homelessness projects supported by Rotary onto the BBC web site.  I would be interested to have information on any homeless projects as I can also use the information for the epolitix web site.
