The campaign started with RIBI President dropping his donation into a hard hat provided by DG Rolf and together with the RC of Humberside and Guests $92 were raised.

"The Hat" which turned into a pink and white sports cap then collected Hullapproximately $65 at RC Thorne's meeting.

The hat was a Gentleman's Trilby at the weekly lunch meeting for Hull Club where a further $70 were collected.

Rotary Supports The Tribune Trust
Sunday, 11 February 2007

Rotarians from Hull Paragon, South Cave & Wolds, Humberside and Barton were some of the 200 volunteers who helped in the running of the Humber Night Challenge - one of the many activities of the Tribune Trust.

250 youngsters aged between 14 and 19 took part from all over the area covered by the old "Humberside" areas.   They came from schools, out of school youth organisations as well as the various cadet units.

Each team consisted of 5 members who undertook challenges at 10 locations in private woodland in North Lincolnshire.

Each checkpoint was manned by volunteers from a variety of organisations such as Rotary, St Johns Ambulance and Explorers (Scouting).  Activities included first aid, physical tests as well as mental challenges.  In these pictures the team have an A4 piece of paper which they have to make into a complete circle big enough for each member to walk through.
