2005-2006 President of Holderness John Barnes identified Tweendykes Special Needs School, Sutton Road, Sutton in Hull as his preferred beneficiary.  The school has 83 physically and/or mentally handicapped students, 16 of them in wheelchairs, ranging in age from 4 to 16 years.  Holderness has been involved with the school, through Kids Out for some 14 years.

 During the last Rotary year the club supported a wide range of events organised by all the Committees enable each to make a considerable contribution.  Tweendykes Hot Road, with the Dave Challis Band, held on 20^th May, was a particularly successful evening.  The President’s wife, Jan, volunteered to sell her own special brand of Sherried Onions which proved very popular, making another valued donation.
